Pudding Alarm — Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Pudding Alarm ("we", "our", or "the App") handles your information. Pudding Alarm is built around a simple principle: your reminders and voice stay with you. The App does not require an account, does not show ads, and does not sell your personal information.
1. Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not require you to create an account or provide your name, email, or phone number.
- We do not collect your contacts, photos, precise location, browsing history, or other device content.
- We do not use third-party advertising or third-party analytics SDKs, and we do not request the advertising identifier (IDFA).
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
2. Information Processed On Your Device
Reminder and alarm data — your tasks, dates, times, repeat rules, reminder history, and free-quota state — is created and stored locally on your device, and in the system alarm/reminder features that you explicitly ask the App to create. This data is not uploaded to our servers.
Free quota. To manage the free tier, the App stores a small amount of quota information in your device's Keychain: the start of the current quota period, the number of used slots, and a temporary reservation token used to prevent double-counting. This information contains no reminder text, voice content, name, phone number, email, or advertising identifier, and it is not synced across devices.
3. Voice Input, Siri & App Intents
When you create a reminder by voice, the App uses Apple's speech recognition. Your audio is processed by Apple for speech recognition; we do not receive or store your audio recordings. The recognized text is used only to fill in the reminder fields on your device.
When you create a reminder through Siri or an App Intent, Apple may process your voice, the transcribed text, and the instruction parameters. The App only receives the parameters it needs to parse the intent, validate duplicates and quota, confirm with you, and register the system alarm.
The App needs your microphone and speech-recognition permission to use the voice feature. You can deny or revoke these permissions at any time in iOS Settings; denying them only disables voice input, not the rest of the App.
4. In-App Purchase ("Pudding Alarm PRO")
PRO is a one-time, lifetime purchase (a non-consumable in-app purchase). Payments are processed entirely by Apple through your Apple Account. We do not see or store your credit card or billing information. We only store the purchase/entitlement status on your device so the App can unlock PRO features.
5. Email Feedback
If you choose to contact us by email, the App opens your device's email app with a pre-filled message to our support address. Sending that email is entirely your choice, and its contents are sent from your own email account to us.
6. How We Share Information
We share your information only where necessary:
- Apple — to provide speech recognition, Siri/App Intents, in-app purchase, and system alarm/reminder functionality that you use.
- Service providers — only if a future version uses them, and only as needed to operate the App.
We do not sell your personal information.
Apple analytics & diagnostics. Through Apple developer tools such as App Store Connect Analytics and Xcode Organizer, we may receive aggregated statistics (downloads, sessions, retention, purchases, region) and device-level diagnostics (app version, iOS version, device model category, crash timing, and stack traces). Apple provides this data under its own privacy protections, and some of it comes only from users who have opted in to share analytics with Apple. We do not use a third-party analytics SDK, and we do not write your reminder text or voice transcripts into custom analytics events.
7. Data Retention
Reminder and alarm data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Free-quota state stays in Keychain and may persist after reinstalling on the same device. If you email us, we retain that email only as long as needed to respond and improve the App.
8. Data Security
We take measures appropriate to the product's scale and risk, including keeping reminders and quota information on-device, storing quota state in the iOS Keychain, verifying purchases through StoreKit without touching payment details, and avoiding writing reminder text or voice transcripts into logs or public feedback. No internet, operating system, or local storage is completely secure, but we continuously monitor system permissions and security risks.
9. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), or similar laws, including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Because the App stores your data locally on your device, you can exercise most of these rights directly by deleting reminders or uninstalling the App. For any request, contact us at gelery@qq.com.
